Congratulations! Eka and Federico have published a paper entitled "Application of steel slags, ferronickel slags, and copper mining waste as construction materials: A review" in the "Resources, Conservation and Recycling" journal.

Eka attended the Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation (QNDE) 2023 conference and presented a poster entitled "Comparison of finite element and peri-ultrasound based modeling to study the nonlinear response of cracked plates".

Dr. Kim gave a seminar "Multiscale characterization of advanced materials in civil engineering and convergence technologies" at the Korea University

Dr. Kim gave a lecture at the Material Science and Engineering department  "3D Printing and the Environment (MSE 220)".

Prof. Kim serve as a mentor for Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program mentorship 2022-2023.

Prof. Kim has been chosen to the 2023 National Science Foundation (NSF) CMMI Game Changer Academies for Advancing Research Innovation Program. 

The Leighty Foundation donated the solar-H2 demonstrator to M2D LAB.
